Party Time Tuesdays #27!

This week at Party Time Tuesdays the challenge is
Anything Goes! I love Anything Goes challenges because
the birthday card you create is up to you! As long as you
have a birthday greeting on the front, all of the
rest is your imagination :)

I've not been feeling well lately so my card was
made rather quickly without any bells and whistles..
just super simple.
But all the same, I'm happy with it :)
I used Cosmo Cricket "Circa 1934" and the
quote (one of my faves) is from a Fiskars birthday
sentiment stamp set.

Hope you'll join the party at PTT!

Thanks for visiting!

Sketch week at Party Time Tuesdays!

This week at Party Time Tuesdays, we have a sketch
designed by our very own, Dianna! I really like it,
it can be interpreted in so many ways.

Here's my take. I turned the sketch on it's side and squared it.
All I needed was this cute party hat 3D embellie and the rest
was just some cardstock scraps and doodles! So easy! :)

We hope you'll join the challenge! Just create a birthday
card following this sketch and add a birthday sentiment
on the front. Share it with us at PTT and you could be the
winner of the monthly prize! :)

Thanks for visiting!

Party Time Tuesday!

This week at Party Time Tuesdays, the challenge is to make
an easel card. This was truly a challenge for me as I've never
tried to make one before. But my fellow DT gals shared
a really simple tutorial with me and then to my surprise,
my card came together rather quickly. It was really easy and
fun to make. I think I just might make a few more :)

And even better - I used all scraps! Woot! The flowers and
leaves are Martha Stewart clear stamps that I stamped and
cut out. Then I used a Qtip with the same color ink to shade
in the leaves a bit. Kinda looks like chalk, eh? I also printed
the sentiment from my computer, something I rarely do,
but might do more often. :)

We'd love to see your birthday easel cards! Just remember
to add a greeting on the front. There's a bunch of fabulous DT
examples to get you started! And this month, the random
winner receives a Cosmo Cricket Togetherness
Mini-Deck! Coolness. eh?!

Thanks for looking!

Our challenge this week at Party Time Tuesdays is to create a card with an Autumn theme which includes a leaf or a pumpkin. Don't forget to add the sentiment on the front of your card. Then share it with us at PTT!

My card was inspired by a red rubber wood stamp that I bought at Dollar Tree a few years ago. Love this leaf! I embossed, too. I really like how it turned out.

It's Party Time!

Hey friends! Happy Tuesday! I've been MIA for a couple weeks.. but I'm back, ready to scrap and excited to bring you this week's Party Time Tuesdays challenge!

Have you ever made a pocket card? I hadn't before this week, I was surprised at just how fun and easy it was to make. :) I hope you'll join the party at PTT by creating a birthday pocket card and share it with us! Be sure to include a birthday sentiment on the front. The DT has made some beautiful cards, as always, be sure to check em out!

For my card, I used papers from my DCWV Rustic Stack. Love this collection! You'll notice two of the flower petals can be pulled out of a hidden pocket to reveal a sweet message.

I've been so busy the past couple weeks, it feels great to scrap again! I have plans for a few layouts in the coming weeks.. And starting August 1st, I'm hosting a "Christmas in August" Every Day Card Challenge (EDCC)! Woohoo! Looks like I'm gonna have my Christmas cards completed early this year. Yay! Last year, I was still making cards on Christmas Eve! lol I'm hosting this EDCC over at Scrappin-n-Chattin, I hope you'll join us!

I'll be back later this week with some layouts to share.. see you then! :)

It's Party Time Tuesday!

I hope that you all had a fabulous holiday weekend! We enjoyed ours- we visited with family, and saw a quick fireworks show before a rain storm came through. It was a bit rushed, but still had a nice time. :)

As on every Tuesday, it's Party Time! :) This week over at Party Time Tuesdays, the challenge is outside/in- which means the inside of the card should be decorated, too :) This was a good challenge for me, I've never created a card that included the inside. I think it turned out cute and it was alot of fun to make, too. I hope you'll join us by creating your own outside/in birthday card and be sure to check out all the gorgeous creations made by the design team! :)

Card Supplies: Imaginisce "Splash Dance" papers and rubons,
AmyR stamps, chalk ink, WRMK corner chomper, cardstock.

I'll be MIA for several days, we're traveling to Pittsburgh to visit my sister. I haven't seen her in a year and I'm really excited- I've missed her so much. We'll be returning possibly Sunday.

(And for you criminal-types out there, my brother-in-law will be house-sitting while we're gone.)

Well.. hope you all have a great week! I know I will :)

See you next week! :)
