Imaginisce & Canvas Corp Blog Hop - decorative pillow

This week Canvas Corp is teaming up with Imaginisce for a blog hop - fun fun fun!! The projects created by the design teams are so beautiful and so creative, you'll love them! And you'll also love the hop prizes.. huge collections of goodies to win at both blogs! Don't miss out on your chance :) See the Imaginisce blog for all the details :)

For my project using Imaginisce and Canvas Corp, I created this decorative pillow..

Supplies used: Imaginisce (i-top 2.0 tool, i-top punch, petal roller, Fabric Roly Rosies, iron bling motif, i-rock mini iron); Canvas Corp (canvas pages, canvas minis, canvas flower, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists); Misc: Floss, thread, red jewels

When I noticed that the Canvas Corp 12x12 fabricpage was actually 2 big pieces of canvas sewn together, I knew right away that I wanted to make a pillow :) I added pillow fluff inside the two layers, then I added that gorgeous canvas flower. The center of the flower is an extra large brad daddy and piece of glimmer misted canvas put together using my i-top. I also added Imaginisce fabric roly rosies, iron-on bling, and canvas leaves also spritzed with glimmer mist.

This pillow pairs up so nicely with my red lap blanket and it really makes a nice addition to my livingroom. :)

Check out Imaginisce and Canvas Corp everyday this week for beautiful inspirational projects and also for your chance to win awesome prizes! Don't miss it :)

Imaginisce - 1 product 2 ways

Today, Diana and I are featured on the Imaginisce blog sharing how we used one Imaginisce Snag'em stamp 2 different ways :)

For my projects I used the circle frame stamp from the awesome Bon Voyage collection.
First I used the stamp to create this bow/flower that I placed on top of a box :)

It was super simple to make. I stamped on a few different patterned papers and cut them out. Then I made a fold on half the circle, and folded it over. Then glued the folded edge to keep it secure. Then I arranged and glued the circles in a round shape :)

Then I used my i-top and burlap to make an extra large brad for the center :)

I also created this card which I used the stamp as an accent rather than as a sentiment/journal spot.

Check out the Imaginisce blog today to see Diana's beautiful projects!
Thanks for visiting me today! :)

Imaginisce - Page Maps :)

Imaginisce is very excited that our Design Team was given the opportunity to work with the incredible & talented Becky Fleck this month & create pages using her new March Page Maps.

Becky's Page Maps sketches are widely known around the globe as she has provided so much inspiration to many of us in the industry.

Becky provided me with a double 12x12 sketch! :) I don't make double pagers very often, but I was so thrilled to get to create with this awesome sketch!

and here's my layout..

I used the fantastic "Happy Harvest" for this spread.. papers and diecuts. I also handmade the larger leaves and used my iTop, too :) It was super difficult for me to get a truly straight photo of this 2pager, seems a lil bowed on the left side, but I did my best lol :) These photos feature my sister and her family at the park last Autumn.

Head on over to the Page Maps website HERE to see all of the great DT projects using Becky's sketches! :)

While you're over at Page Maps be sure to check out the blog because Becky is having a contest using one of her sketches and Imaginisce is sponsoring the prize!!
(Makin Waves collection pack and Foam Tape).

You have most of the month (until March 25th) to work on it but check the blog for full details!

Imaginisce Monthly Challenge :)

Have you seen the new challenge over at Imaginisce? It's an inspirational photo and it's full of possibilities!

You could pull from the green, the flowers. the fruit, the door, the purse, shoes or coat... so many great ideas! :)

For my project, I was inspired by all the greens and those lovely flowers.

This is my sister and her son.. it was made as a gift to her and she loved it! :) I used green patterned papers from Imaginisce Happy Harvest and Berrylicious.. then added some light beige, brown and green cardstock The square frames are hand stitched and I loved playing with those Roly Rosies again! Aren't they so pretty? :)
I added some gems with my i-rock and I also added stickles to all the petals.

Several of the Imaginisce DT joined this challenge and they're projects are amazing! I hope you get a chance to visit the Imaginisce blog, you're sure to be inspired! :)

Happy Thursday! :)

Imaginisce - Love is in the air! :)

It's that time of year again, when all the sweethearts celebrate that pitter-patter feeling.. love. Isn't it grand!? All this week at Imaginisce, we're sharing our "love" projects! Each day, there are new LOVEly layouts, cards, home decor etc! Be sure to visit each day for inspiration and even a couple giveaways, too! Woot!

For my "love" project, I created this layout which features my nephew, Drake, and my sister's niece, Sarai. They look so adorable playing in the garden, smiling at each other.. so adorable!

I used mostly Imaginisce Berrylicious with a few patterned pieces from Happy Camper and Happy Harvest. The large title alphas are actually chipboard letters that I traced onto Berrylicious paper and cut out - I think that's my favorite part of the page :) The little ladybug/leaves and tree were cut with my cricut and I used my i-top tool for that sweet smiling sun. I also added Imaginisce Roly Rosies.. it was my first time making those and it was so fun!! They're addicting.. after I made one, I had to make another, and another lol.. I could've went on and on :)

The Imaginisce design team has created BEAUTIFUL love projects to inspire you in creating your own for this upcoming holiday of hearts. We hope you'll join us! :) Check out the Imaginisce blog to be wowed by all the amazing goodies and be sure to see Monday's post for a sweet giveaway!

Nature & a friend :)

So today kicks off a new challenge at The Paper Variety :) It's an inspirational photo challenge and full of so many possibilities!
For my project, I chose to pull the leaves and nature from the image. Here is my take...

I LOVE this photo of my son and nephew, sitting so peacefully by the creek, watching the leaves float by. :) I combined two Imaginisce collections, Apple Cider and Happy Camper, both my top faves :) I also did alot of hand stitching, aren't those leaves the cutest with the stitching? I really like how this layout turned out. :)

If you join us at TPV and enter your project following the photo inspiration challenge, you could be the winner of this awesome prize! :)
Woohoo!

Check out all the other great projects from the TPV design team here :) We hope you'll join us! :)

I hope you all have a wonderfully fabulous Thanksgiving!!! :)
