Friends Furever Blog Hop! :)

Good morning!
Welcome to the "Friends Furever" blog hop :)

If you are coming from Sue's blog, you are in the right spot! If you are just stopping by my blog today, you'll want to go to Suzanne's blog to start from the beginning.. or here is this hop order in case you get lost.
Suzanne - Scrap With Suzy
Abby - Midwest Memories - You're here!

You don't want to miss the "furry" projects we have for you, as well as chances to win some awesome blog candy!

There are 7 of us participating in the hop; we are all online scrapbooking friends from the Yahoo group Scrappin N Chattin. SnC is an email forum where we share our love for this hobby, as well as everyday life. Don't be intimidated by the amount of emails that come through our message boards - there are a lot of fun activities, challenges, and prizes - to jumpstart your creativity and keep your scrappin' goals.

I host 2 activities at SnC.. The Monthly Layout Contest (MLC) and the SC'12 Layouts and Cards (which Sue just told you about!). The MLC, like all the other activities, is a lot of fun. I provide our group with a layout sketch to draw inspiration from and also I provide a recipe to follow. The recipe usually consists of adding a color, technique, pattern, and/or embellishment. It's really cool to see how everyone uses the same sketch/recipe but yet has such different and unique layouts :)

Fun right? You can visit our SnC homepage here and join in if you'd like. We love meeting new people!  We also love blog hopping and sharing inspiration we find around the web! For today's hop, we each created a "furry" project.

I have 2 pets :)
A 6 y/o calico cat, Logan (who we call Logie) and a 3 y/o beagle/basset hound, Cooper. For my hop project, I created this layout featuring Logan and used my 3 Bugs in a Rug "Frisky" Caboodle kit.

Not sure if you can see it or not.. but the white cardstock has "k-i-t-t-y" letters added :)

I love this "Frisky" paper collection! So fun and colorful :)

Also, here are a couple layouts I created in the past that feature my Cooper..

It wouldn't be a blog hop without CANDY! ;)
I'm giving away a 3 Bugs in a Rug "Frisky" Caboodle kit.. the same kit I used for my Logan layout :)

Just become a follower and comment for your chance to win :) You do not have to join SNC to qualify. Just follow and comment, that's all :) Blog candy winners will be announced Thursday.

I'm the last stop in the hop :)
Hope you enjoyed all the furry projects, blog candy and hopping along to learn about SnC :)
Hope you'll join us at SnC!

I have several Halloween collections with pumpkins, bats, spiders, ghosts.. but the more I looked through them all and thought about it.. I decided to just go with a simple card with traditional colors. The pattern is from Echo Park "Apothecary Emporium", matched up with some Bazzill and sheer ribbon. CAS!! :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last week I came across a couple layouts that I forgot to post on my blog. I love Bella Blvd products and I applied for their team back in September. I didn't make the cut obviously, but I did create 4 layouts to add to my albums :) I think I already shared two of them, but here are all 4 together...
All layouts were made with just about 100% Bella product. I had alot of fun making these and I was a lil sad I didn't make the team.. but the designers that were chosen were soooo good! The competition was fierce! It's a crazy scrappin world out there! lol :)
Thanks for visiting!
And don't forget to enter your Halloween project at The Paper Variety! We'd love to see all your cute and spooky projects! :)
Happy Birthday, TPV! Day 2 :)
If you're here for the TPV Blogaversary Blog Hop, click here! :)
Yay! It's Day2 of The Paper Variety's birthday celebration :) TPV is hosting 5 daily challenges with 5 winners and 5 prizes.. plus a giveaway on the TPV facebook page.. plus a blog hop!! Woohoo! What a party!!
Today's challenge is to create a paper project using your favorite paper crafts company :)
I have so many favorites, it's agonizing to choose just one. I love so many equally, I literally had to choose by eenie-meenie-minee-mo! lol
I recently tried out for the Bella Blvd Design Team. They contacted their chosen designers and I didn't make the cut :( But they're still one of my favorites! I have many of their collections and each time they introduce new lines, I drool and wish could I afford every piece. Their collections are so fun and colorful, just my style! :)
Here is my project featuring my pup, Cooper. Well .. he's not really a pup anymore, he's almost 2.. but he's little so I think of him as a pup :)
I used the Bella Blvd "Tail Waggers" collection. I love all the colors and fun images and patterns :) I also used my Cricut "Live Simply" cart to cut the bushes and the frame :)
I hope you'll join our celebration by creating a paper project using your favorite paper crafts company. You have until Tuesday at noon to enter it here. :)
If you're the randomly chosen winner from this challenge, you could win this great collection of goodies from another on of my favorite companies, Nikki Sivils! This is the "Blueberry Hill" collection and it's gorgeous!!
There are 3 more challenges coming up at The Paper Variety. One each day until Sunday and all projects are due on Tuesday. We hope you'll celebrate with us! :)
And don't forget about our blog hop and facebook giveaway! Lot of prizes and blog candy to be won this week! :)
Thanks for visiting me! :)
Sketch Inspiration #152 - Cutest Pumpkins in the Patch
OMG! I made a layout! Can you believe it!? lol
My super friend, Suz, was surprised.
She's been trying to get me to scrapbook for a
longggggg time. It felt good to accomplish- and soon
after I was finished, I wanted to make another!
But it's late, so it'll have to wait for another day-
maybe tomorrow! :)
I followed this beautiful sketch at Sketch Inspiration.
I reaaaally admire Trisha's design style. I need to visit SI
more often, she always provides great inspiration.
My layout features my son and my nephew at our local
pumpkin patch last year. I finally was able to get some
Bella Blvd "One Fall Day" - yet another fabulous
line from Bella!
I tried a couple new-to-me techniques, too!
The "patch" letters were made by gluing corrugated
alpha negatives onto patterned paper - love the look of it!
And I created a new-to-me style border punch by using my
scallop punch and then also using a standard hole punch.
Wahla! :)
Thanks for looking!
