Layouts with Boys Rule

I have a couple layouts to share with you today :)

As soon as I saw Bo Bunny's "On the Go" collection, I knew it was a must have.. and I was so excited to receive it as part of May's scrapbooking kit at Boys Rule. This kit is so colorful and fun, perfect for any little boy.. big boys, too! Here is a layout I created using these great papers and embellies..

This was so fun to make.. it features my toddler nephew who is "always on the go"! At first, I wanted to title this page 'always on green' lol but I didn't have enough room. Oh well, I think it turned out just great anyway :) I also created a video if you'd like to see how this page came together - you can find it here.

Also, I noticed recently that I forgot to add this next layout to my blog last month. It was created with the Boys Rule April kit using the Simple Stories "Awesome" collection and the April 13th sketch.

This is my son and nephew at one of our local state parks. There's an old house near the park with the windows and doors boarded and it just seemed to me like a house from "the hood" lol so this title came to me quickly ;) This page is also on video here if you'd like to check it out :)

PDCC127 "Happy Birthday" card & TPV tutorial

It's my turn to provide a tutorial for The Paper Variety today :) so I created this card and video which features a simple masking technique.

I also followed the challenge at The Play Date Cafe..

This week's suggested colors are...
Daffodil...Hydrangea...Kiwi...Cherry 
I used all suggested colors (similarly) and also added brown and white as neutral colors. I love primary colors so this challenge was a must do! :)

Imaginisce Party & my first haul video! :)

Hi! Hope you all had a great weekend :) I just wanted to pop in tonight and mention a few things..

Tomorrow begins the Makin Waves release party at Imaginisce! Woot!! The Imaginisce DT is sharing all of their GORGEOUS projects created with the new Imaginisce Makin Waves collection. This is the CUTEST collection ever! Seriously. I think it's become my favorite Imaginisce line of all time. You really don't want to miss out on the party... so many awesome awesome projects and giveaways, too - so be sure to check it out, tomorrow! :)

I also wanted to share..

I joined the rest of the world and created my own YouTube channel, abbyscrafts. I'd love it if you all became a subscriber :) I plan on posting a few videos every month.. some papercraft tutorials and also monthly hauls. I love to watch scrapbooking hauls by other YouTubers, it can get addicting lol. But it's nice to see products and what other people are buying, things that I might not have seen at my favorite stores. I decided to make my own haul video that includes purchases I've made in March. My video went over 10 minutes so I had to split it up in two. I don't know if I'll continue put these on my blog in the future.. so if you're interested in seeing more hauls from me (and other crafting videos), the best way is to subscribe to my channel :)

So anyway.. I had fun making them and am happy to share my goodies with you :)
