My June kit is almost gone :( Just a few pieces left here and there. It's been a nice month making more feminine layouts and cards. Most of the time, it's all boys boys boys - but I love to play with flowers, birds and butterflies, too! :)

I'll be back with the boys in July though! :) I'm so excited about the new July Artful Delight kit!! Have you seen it??Ohhhh.. I cannot wait to get this kit in my hands! GORGEOUS, isn't it!? All those My Mind's Eye colors, kites, balloons, clouds.. and American Crafts papers, too! And Maya Road chipboard shapes.. and Thickers.. and buttons.. and Maya Mist.. and Precocious Paper's stars.. and twine.. and.. and... Ahhhhhh!! I have so many crafty ideas goin all at once! I'm literally stalking my mailman this week! The poor guy!

Friends - Artful Delight & Sassy Lil Sketches

Happy Saturday! I've been a busy little scrapper this week - Yay me! I've completed 2 layouts and am currently working on a few cards and another layout - all made with the Artful Delight June kit :)I found this darling sketch at Sassy Lil Sketches and knew I had to play along! I love creating with grid designs!

My online bestie, Suzanne, shared this photo of she and her friend Kristina at Kristina's wedding. I love how these two beautiful friends are smiling, so happy and enjoying this special day. And I thank Suzanne for allowing me to scrapbook it :)

Most of the items used are from the Lily Bee portion of the kit - so pretty! I love the warm colors in this collection. :)

I also created another layout featuring ME! Me? Yes! I can't believe it either lol. It's rare that I create anything about myself. But this project was alot of fun and I'm so glad I took the time to make it. I'll share it with you tomorrow - but here's a sneak peek. I really added dimension on this one! :)

Just an update from last week.... I had shared that we were celebrating my son Braydon's 12th birthday last Saturday. It was such a great day! Braydon actually proclaimed it "the best day ever!" We had alot of fun at the bowling alley for Cosmic Bowl - I even shook my booty quite a bit to the funky music. I think I might have embarrassed Braydon a little Bwahahahaha!

After bowling, we came home and had a nice cake party with family and Braydon's friends. I look at this photo and think.. my my, how he's grown. It's all happening way too fast. And he looks sooooo much like his father. If his dad could only see him now {sigh} It's been 4.5 years since Scott's been gone, we both miss him so much, especially this weekend. He'd be so proud of the young man Braydon is becoming.

So anyway! That's all for now.. I'll be back tomorrow with another layout :)
