Best buds & Giveaway

Tonight began a 24 hour layout challenge on Scrappin-n-Chattin. Gals who sign up chose which
sketch and paper collection each other is to use for their layouts and we have 24 hours to complete it. It really is alot of fun! And a great challenge, too!

Suzanne picked for me, I had to use October Afternoon's "Fly a Kite" and had to follow this sketch...

I wasn't really excited about the sketch, wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. But as I worked with it.. I started to really like it :)

So.. good choices, Suz! Thanks! Here is my take on the sketch with "Fly a kite"...

Layout Supplies: October Afternoon "Fly a kite" papers,
Jillibean Soup corrugated alphas, Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type,
cardstock, ribbon, crocheted ribbon.

I have a small giveaway tonight. I had planned to use these on my day25 layout, but the 24 hour layout challenge had me taking a different route. My kitty Logan layout will just have to wait for another day.

Up for grabs are these adorable Basic Grey "Max & Whiskers" pieces. It contains 17 pieces of journal spots, labels, cute little diecuts. You can use them on anything! Cards or layouts of your pets (fishies and birdies, too!).
