I'm super excited!

I've always been a crafty girl. I use to love drawing most of all. When I was in elementary school, I won a few class art contests and did very well in high school art class, also. Many years later, I started scrapbooking and have been hooked ever since.

For the most part, I'm happy with my layouts for my own personal enjoyment and I have many friends & family that are very supportive and generous with compliments. However, I've never been confident enough to submit my work for publication or an online site design team etc. Until a couple weeks ago.

For the first time, I decided to take a chance and try out for a spot with Creative Scrappers. They're having an anniversary celebration in April and were looking for 40 guest designers. Not for a commited design team or anything like that - just for a one day guest spot. It was reported that over 170 scrappers submitted their requests to be chosen. I really didn't think I had a chance with soooo many others trying out.

To my surprise, I was chosen! Woohoo! Yay me!! I'm super excited! Kristine from Creative Scrappers has already set me up with my sketch to follow and date of reveal - I LOVE the sketch - thanks Kristine! I can't wait to get started on it, but I admit I'm a bit anxious. I really really want to do well - I hope I do! Be looking for me on Creative Scrappers near the end of April! :D
