I Pick You! Artful Delight

Yay - a holiday weekend! I love July 4th weekends - sun, fun, food and fireworks! Our small town's firework display has never been really huge or great, the town is pretty skimpy on their firework budget. But we still get excited and enjoy the show. We're really looking forward to it, just a couple more days :)

I received my Artful Delight July kit the other day and I've been ogling at it since I opened the box. I know I say this every month, but I really do LOVE all Artful Delight's kits, and I think the July kit is my most favorite of all I've created with.

I love it, don't you? And here's my take...

I used the masking technique with the kit's Maya Mist to create the background, then faux stitched the outline. I also did some fussy cutting with those sweet American Crafts butterflies. I really love all the embellies in this kit (as well as the fun and colorful papers!), there are so many pretties to choose from to add to your page :)
