Cards 13 & 14

Well I kinda fell off the wagon for a few days. I did complete the card challenge on Friday, but life's been hectic lately and I didn't get the cards shared on my blog. So here they are :)

Day 13's challenge was to distress and also stamp on patterned paper. I was skimpy with the distressing, I just inked the edges in black. I love that cute lil shaker box. And the fun sand dollar paper is from TPC Studio.


The last daily challenge was to leave white space. Just a simple card using stamped images, Thickers and a few gems.

The winner of this 14day card challenge was announced Saturday.. Ann won! I'm so thrilled for her, she's a sweet gal. Congrats Ann!

I'm looking forward to June, I've signed up for a month long daily layout challenge in Scrappin-n-Chattin. 30 days = 30 layouts! Holy cow - that's alot, but I'm determined to do it! I've fallen sooo far behind with layouts since I discovered the fun of making cards. So I'm really looking forward to getting back in the layout groove :)

Recently, I submitted my interest in joining the DT of a new card challenge blog, Party Time Tuesdays which was created by my friend Kristie. It'll kick off in June. If I'm lucky to be chosen, June is gonna be a super busy scrappin month for me! Awesome! Good thing I work for the school district and have the summer off! Woot :)
