It was a busy weekend but I was able to get my daily cards made.. whew! For card 13, I did alot of embossing- all the polkadots, the stripes and sentiment. I really like the mint/chocolate/pink color combination.
And for card 14, I went out of my element and tried something a bit more elegant. Last year I won a
Basic Grey 2010 calendar kit from
Julie Bonner's blog. Instead of making a calender with it, I decided I'm going to use the supplies to make 12 different cards.. well, I'm gonna try lol. Each month comes with paper, borders and a few embellies and stickers that will all look great on cards. For this one, I used the March supplies. All I had to add to it was the cardstock, ribbon and floss- everything else came with the kit.
